Parity, Check Sum & CRC are all error DETECTION methods. Retransmission, Symbol Substitution and Error Correction Code are error CORRECTION methods (from jacaranda textbook). You shouldn't confuse the two, however i think you might as well learn the correction methods just in case. They arn't...

Hey i just wanna know a rough estimated mark (raw) of what you need to get in the ext 1 paper to scale to a 90+. I've recently done the 99 paper and i got 69/84 and knowing that the more recent papers are much harder the mark would drop quite a bit so really its not too convincing atm.

the test wasnt too bad, allowing 1 stupid mistake...so maybe 119/120 :P
