Yes a rad can earn up to 100k++ a year. Im a qualified rad myself (2 years experience) n at the moment my salary is staying at 60k + a year.

At the moment, its really hard to find an internship for first year out in radiography. After your internship, basically you are a qualified radiographer n able to work any states in Australia even oversea.
