    Euthanasia

the problem i have with that, is that if a person has the ability to do all that on thier own, are they really sick enough for euthanasia anyway? also, how long would the wait have to be for approval? knowing the legal system these days.... another issue this reminds me of, is the one of...

    Euthanasia

i think there are three issues with euthanasia which are argued over There is the "preciousness of human life" - where people believe that taking life, regardless of circumstance is not the way to go There is the "what if...?" thinking - where if you partook in euthanasia today, and a cure...

    Euthanasia

depends on how they class it. if suicide is counted as a murder, then failing would be an attempted murder. if its counted as manslaughter, then... i'm unsure, because manslaughter is used when its accidental anyway, isn't it?

    Euthanasia

i think you're right there... you wouldn't get a jail term unless you did it in a way that harmed other people, but i do think its illegal

    Euthanasia

Its basically about the quality of thier life isn't it? Alot of suicides take place because the person feels like the quality of thier life is such that they don't believe it worth the effort, or don't see how it can be fixed. This is depression, I guess so whats the distinction between...

    Poll Results (5th Week)

doing it just for the scaling is bs... if you're more likely to do well at something which stimulates you, you go do that. ignore the scaling thing, that isn't what's going to make or break your uai. not caring about a course will.

How can I gain 10% in my physics mark.. ?

nano = 10^(-9) (i htink) si units include meters (instead of km, cm etc) seconds (instead of min, hours, days) kg (instead of gm's, tons) things like that basically plugging meters into the formula's which need meters, and not trying centimeters instead.

Einstein's theory may be relatively wrong!!!

i don't intend to offend the religious, but i see a sort of sad irony in this statement "The Often-Repeated Lie=Truth," and the url "www.biblebelievers.org.au" *sigh*

    Literary theories & CF

my teacher has recommended that we don't use prescribed texts from another course... not worth the risk I'm actually doing individual in society, so i can't really help you with your texts

    Literary theories & CF

i'm just thinking about John Dunne here.. i know its from the Advanced course, but the same theory applies john dunne wasn't valued as much in his own time, because his love poetry didn't follow the structual forms and conventions of tradiditonal poems of the time. is something like that...
