Personification Can I regrad personification to animals... say the composer uses personification with the cat as the cat has human attributes. Or is personification only for objects?

the techniques in emma.... well for the novel...its the use of satire.. evidence of conversational speech...when the book was made the idea of conversational speech was not used it was all narrated.. ummm the tone of the novel is very satirical... The fact that Jane Austen satires everyone...
