would the range of this graph still be (-∞,∞) even though there is an asymptote at y=3? ( i thought otherwise, but this is what it says in the solutions)

I've been trying to memorise further reflections for a while ( |f(x)|, f(|x|), |y| = f(|x|) etc.) but they're so confusing and similar to each other, does anyone have any tips to memorise them?

Does anyone have any past half-yearly and yearly papers of preliminary maths advanced?
