hmm..yes, extended responses once more...just like to ask them so i can prepare the thinking side of my brain when it comes down to doing them...
Scenario:
The namager of the IT support section has written the memo on page 21 to the PC Support Spervisor. It is to help staff installing software on computers used by the Executive Management team.
Develop a comprehensive action plan for PC support staff to successfully complete the installation process. Your plan should address all issues, including those identified by the memo. Justify each step of your plan.
OK, here is some of the issues i've thought about after reading the memo (memo not typed)
- Backup must be done using floppy and CD-R as the PCs are not networked
- Data collection off the executive members must be done as there are 16 new stand alone computers for the EM and the fact that each executive will have different requirments
- The installation must be done after working hours as the installaion must causes as little disruption as possible to the executives.
Hmm, i ain't so sure about it, but any points ios welcomed...
