The hsc marks every one got today, have they undergone any scaling (not aligning, but scaling) and if they havent how is it possible to make a accurate uai prediction based upon HSC marks

They have been aligned (what you see).

They have already been scaled behind closed doors (but you won't see those) just a UAI tomorrow.

yep, people seem to get the terms scaling and aligning confused. scaling is done for uai calculations. where as aligning is done for the calculation of the hsc marks.
