ok can someone just explain to me how this works.
I have 12 units my extra 2 units being extension courses and therefore each are 1 unit.
Everyone always tell me that they take your best 10 units even if that means taking half your best mark of a subject and using your extra unit. Can someone just explain that to me? As in what is that 'better half' of the mark?

you have 12 units

Say for example you score 80/100 in Ancient History in the HSC. Since Ancient History is worth 2 unit, it makes up for two 40/50 unit. It's split or so

I might be wrong lol
