What is with people these days? It doesn't really say but the boss (i.e. manager i presume), should be sacked.

yeah thats totally unacceptable and un-professional behaviour by the supervisor
who the hell hits a 13 year old, when they are relatively new to the workforce
the supevisor deserves a hefty punishment....ie criminal record, sacked and pay for compo

Well, keep in mind that his supervisor is probably only 16 or 17 himself. Probably not all that experienced and probably just mirroring the behaviour that he sees or does at school. It's a fast food restaurant after all.

In any case ... 13 year olds working? No way! Stick to the paper runs!

In SA, you can work when you're 5. There is no minimum age for working. They should get this fixed though, asap.
