Does such a thing exist? I swear, LCD monitors only start becoming widescreen after 20" or more (unless in a laptop, but I want a desktop monitor), and even then they fall under the "Television" category, and I don't really have the money for these. Does anyone know of any 17" LCD monitors that you could direct me to? I've looked everywhere--help much appreciated :)

Even if these, too, fall under "Television," is there any disadvantage using it as an everyday monitor?

It would be preferable for it to have a digital input but this isn't overly crucial.

Edit: found this but the response time is a bit too high for my liking, ideally want 16ms or lower, it's also a "TV."

Google is your friend (or in this case, yahoo.com.au). Took me a few seconds to find out a company called Westinghouse Digital released a 17" widescreen LCD (LCM-17w7) few months back. So yeah, check out some search engines.

As for the 20" issue, I see lots of places with 19" widescreen LCDs. Officeworks is one typical stockist.
