heyhey! i'm new here, but i need a little help!
well Im going to have my preliminary half-yearly on monday for ext. english and we need to write a piece of creative writing based on some given pictures in one hour using 19th century style of writing e.g. jane eyre and poe and gothic/romantic like.

i was wondering if you could help me with some techniques and maybe typical ideas which can be used. :worried:

i'm doing jane eyre atm as my chosen text. If you're going to write a piece of creative writing in a gothic romance-esqu way, i suggest you write *deep* as in, consider the emotions of the character really throroughly...yup...and it would be a good idea to show some flaws in your character's personality too...like a byronic hero...i don't know what i'm saying. perhaps read a bit of jane eyre? get a better idea of the genre..
