1st yr. DFEE - 2nd yr. CSP/HECS??? (1 Viewer)

Hey people,
I'm planning to get into my desired course with DFEE but i don't want to make my parents pay for the whole course which would be about 60K after 3 years!
So... is there anyway of transfering DFEE to HECS in the 2nd year?
If you have any knowledge or guidance on this matter it would be much appreciated!

heyy. ive put down two courses with DFEE in my preferences and like u- im not making my parents pay for my course in the 5years or so cos it would turn out --heaps-- in the long run. Apparently, you can transfer to a Commonwealth Supported Place after a year by applying through the UAC. But your UAI must have been really close to ur nominated course and you also would have had to score a distinction credit or something? Above <85 i think. Its not easy also from what ive heard to get a distinctionbut there is no way i can get the hecs cut off so i figured i could at least try. You're also competiting with everyone who wants a transfer across the unis and there are limited places so its gonna be damnnn difficult, judging on how many people want to do the same transfer. Oh, and if u dnt successfully get a transfer after a year, you can apply the next year- but that means fullfee for another year cos u failed until u succed a transfer. If you need help, call the UAC or read the UAC gudie cos its got info in there cos i remember reading it.
