Myself and my friend plan to travel across russia/europe (from Vladivostok to London) in 2010, but are probably going to take 2009 off to raise money. We have wanted to do this for quite a while.
I am planning on doing an apprenticeship as a sparky (electrician) and hopefully becoming a firey down the line, and my mate wants to be a cop, so we dont have any technical-intense university courses we need to do.
Are things like this viewed favourable by employees? And can anyone see any way that this would cause us problems later down the line? Assuming we didn't bomb our HSC and got fairly good marks. I would be greatful for anybody's opinions, but please do not flame. Thankyou
