Did anyone find this paper alot harder than the three before it?

were there any raw marks released for this subject last year?

I agree with Jago, the 2003 paper seemed much harder than the 2004 paper

K im not supposed to be bak till the 17.. but newyas.. im on my break now!!!

K... i collected all the released RAW marks that i could find on bos previously....

from the second table....

101/120 got aligned to 93%... i couldn't believe it.... but neways...

i havnt done 2004 yet... im gonna do that the weekend before the exams

but i had a flick through it ... it didn't look too difficult .... well at least question 10 wasnt as annoying as the 2003 question 10!

ENJOY!!!

yea i found 2004 way easier than 2003. thats coz many people complained that they didnt get enough time so thats why they made it easier only got 80~/120 for 2003 but got 104/120 for this one and without silly mistakes could have gotten 110+ but ay practice makes perfect. got a feelin ours is gonna be hard

according to the 2003 data for mathematics.... 80/120 probably would have given u an aligned mark of 85% (maybe higher... who knows)

seeing as 73/120 aligned to 82%

thats pritty good.... 104/120... not bad!!!

Personally, I found q10 in 2004 easier than 2003, the rest I found pretty much on par.

I found 2004 very easy when compared to 2003. The last question was a sinch compared to questions like in the 2000 paper.

i haven't looked at the 2004, but will do later

I did the 2003 paper, however, i don't think it is actually harder than any other years. In fact, the only hard questions i though, were the last 2(which i remember i didn't finish properly but enough to get more than 50% of the marks), whereas the earlier questions (ie 1 -> 6) [theres 8 questions right?] were a lot easier than other years.

I think this year's q's9&10 will be more focused around abstract rules - like 2004. Seeing how many schools aren't taught that the significance of the area under graphs (as it's not an expressed element of the syllabus) or other abstract rules will mean that they are unable to do the questions.

I also think that this years HSC exam will be quite solid, since the CSSA trial was quite easy. i think Qu9 and Qu10 will be very difficult. *sigh* Having said this, the aligned HSC marks might be good! *fingers cross*

CSSA paper and HSC paper have nothing to do with each other. The HSC writers would have written the HSC paper before they've even seen the CSSA questions.
