2nd hand stores are my latest obsession.

So many interesting knick knacks.

So cheap.

Anyone know of any particulary good 2nd hand stores in the Sydney area?

Mosman area tend to have some good ones. otherwise, check out vinnies. the one in brookvale is my favourite. a few friends convinved me to go (i was a bit apprehensive), and i ended up finding some awesome leather bags ($3), a shirt/dress by marcs (with tags, i couldnt believe it! ($4)), and some trendy wide vintage belts ($2).
Also for anyone doing the HSC, they usually have study guides, fairly new, for 50c.
lol sorry, i had to share, im still getting over the cheapness.
but, vinnies in brookvale is definately the best (opposite warringah mall). you just have to have the patience to look through alot of horrible clothing/ items before you find something. but for $3-$4 its worth it :)

wow ive neve rbeen game enough to wear something from those shops. The smell is just terrible and i find it hard just to enter

Depends on where you go. most of them are like that. and if they are, i feel the same way... cant enter. i always wash the clothes about 5 times before im satisfied. :p
I just think its awesome to find something that isnt mainstream, and these days, the only way you can do that, is to buy from markets and 2nd hand stores etc :)

lol let me assure you that not all op-shops are the same.... :uhhuh:
believe it or not... some are quite classy :eek: (yes its possible)
whenever i go, there are tonnes of rich-looking anorexics hovering around, its scary.
