Hey guys,
I really need help with Q16 for past papers, like how to approach them and answer them. Up until 15 I can do fine or I understand the solutions easily. With Q16 I don't really understand the questions and even if I understand the solutions it doesn't really help on how to approach these harder questions and I just get stuck for the next time.
Does anyone have any tips for how they approach these questions and what they do to figure out what it is actually asking for etc.?

P.S. A recent example that I did and got stuck on is Q16 b) and c) on 2012 hSC past paper. Maybe you could walk me through the approach you'd take to answer this.
