i need a 300 level commerce elective (much prefer if it is 2nd semester, but i'll look into that later)

cannot be (since they are my cores)

ACCG310
ACCG323
ACCG340

BUSL301
BUSL320

requirements (in order):
- easy to get a D in

I did ACCG353 this sem, it's pretty straight forward. Can't comment on how easy it is to get a D cos i haven't got my marks back. (it's a 2nd sem subject too)

ECON350 - easier than a lot of 100 level subjects.
ECON335 - did it this sem. Easy as.
ACCG353 - easy depending on what subjects you've done before, how you performed in 253, interest in finance.

Yep my friend said that too. if you're IT-oriented and you don't like financial reporting, double entry etcc!
I'll never torture myself with tha though. Accg250 is awful enough!

I've been religiously doing core subjects to save electives for an exchange sem but i think i'll give that up. From what I heard, the easiest electives are: MTKG101, MKTG201, ACST201, BBA102, 103.

we need two 200-level and two 100-level right?

I dont like theory stuff that much and I hate finals, so I'm thinking of doing basic spoken chinese, introductory spanish (well they introduce it, that is!) , ACST201 and intermediate french. (2 100level, 2 200level)

Doesn't that sound easier than 300level commerce electives?

not a big fan of 253, unfortunately.

Just find something you're actually interested in, and it'll be easy (to get a D in).

Does it have to be Commerce unit?
yeah it has to be a commerce unit. if it is easy, then i will be interested in it ;)

i'll check them two out. maybe busl350, dont think so about accg355, accg250=boring.

i'll look into the econ units. not an econ fan from past experiences. what is with the change of name? :D

are you doing the single acounting degree or a double? i am doing just the accounting degree and i would have done 1 100 level, 2 200 level and 1 300 level electives. that satisfies all my, "credit points required at xxx level..." requirements.

edit: i just rechecked them. and you are right, we need 2 100 lvl, 2 200 lvl, but we also need a 300 level to satisfy the 300 lvl requirements.

i have done econ141, stat270 and acst201. need to do another 100 lvl and a 300 lvl.

What are you good at?

Just as a hypothetical argument. Suppose there is an easy HD unit, and everyone finds out about it. Do you think, it'll still be an easy HD unit?

You see: MATH236 and MATH300 are really really easy. Although their prereq MATH235 is much much harder. They're science units. :D
i'm not good at too many things, maybe an acst101/201 style subject or a stat170/270 like subject.

like i said i need another 100 lvl subject (or a 200 level). argh! need to study for my exams still...this is just too easy to kill time with :D

if u want 100 level unit, do DEM127 ... easy as.
hey that does look easy. i had a look on e-reserve. have you done the subject? if so do you need to know much about "demography" from a current affairs point of view, or will we learn everything in the unit? we need no background info?

edit: had a further look at past papers, main problem looks like the last essay question. will you cover that stuff as part of your lecture stuff/assignment/tutes or do you need to magically apply knowledge of the world you have?

REDRUM:

You got me into checking the units and their outline! I'm sure when I'll have to do all this for real in Jan during re-enrolment, i'd be so not interested then.

I'm doing the single acc degree as well, and I really thought electives could be from other faculties.

Well, let us know when you've compiled a list of easiest,least- effort- needed electives from all levels, incl those u've done already.

Okay, its time to stop procrastinating. Really.

Yeh i did that subject in my very first semester of first year.

You dont need to know any background information, everything you need to know will be from the lectures.

The last essay question is easy! I dont know if they have changed it, but they give you the question during the semester (the actual question, not the "it could be one of these five"), so you have plenty of time to prepare and research it.
Actually, were you refering to the compulsory question or the others? Its been so long i cant really remember what was in the exam :p

But yehh you dont need to know any prior info, they'll give you everything.

If your keen on it, then you should download all of that stuff on e-reserve.
