Hey has anyone ever done one of these exams? I just wanted to know the structure of the exam? There apparently is a practical section and I have no idea what they're going to test us for the practical.

Hmm... I did Networking 1 (31467) a while ago- I'm not sure what the challenge exam is. Networking 1 was replaced by Networking Essentials (31270) in the beginning of the year though.

I know some people who did Networking Essentials last semester, I'll ask them and I'll let you know what they tell me =)

exam date: 27 july 2007 i think, or there abouts, which puts me at 2 weeks to study.

cool awesome, um it says it's based on the CISCO syllabus so I'll just read them. I still don't know about the "practical" bit though.

Might have to connect a couple of computers together; setting up IP addresses and subnets.

Calculating the subnet masks are the hardest part; everything else is easy!
