Hi, I'm currently in year 11, aiming for a 96 Atar

Current Subjects:
Advanced English + Ext
Advanced Maths + Ext
Physics
Biology
Ancient History

School Rank: 310 in 2012 (however that was a very strong cohort for my school), ~450 in 2011 & 2010
How much will my school's relatively low rank affect my atar?

Looking at the past 6 years of DA achievers, the average number of students with DA's in relevant subjects are:
English Advanced- 1.33
Bio- 2.6
Physics- 0.83
Ancient- 2.33
Mathematics- 1.33
Maths E1- 1.66
Maths E2-0.5

Year 12 Subjects:
Drop Ext. English
Pick Up Ext. 2 Maths
Keep 12 units in case I drop Ext. 2 Maths
What do you guys think of this?

What ranks do I need in year 12 to achieve 96? So far this year I have been working fairly easily, not busting myself over assessments, with my overall rank for semester 1 - 3rd
Can provide current year 11 ranks for subjects if needed.

Also how much of a workload is it going to be to achieve 96? e.g. 3-4 hours on school nights and 5 on Saturday and Sunday??

Thanks for any advice

Based on the number of Band 6's in your school over the past 6 years, you would have to be first or second in all your subjects in order to be competitive enough to achieve 96 ATAR.

Your school's rank does not affect your ATAR.
