98.85 course, 97.5 uai... any hope? (1 Viewer)

Looking into options atm... B Arts (Advanced) at Sydeny plus Dip Educ also looks alright (other than the course I picked)... but it's got 98.85 cutoff and I have 97.5 UAI. Do I have any hope at all?

There's no point in doign advanced arts @ USyd. It's nearly as pointless as an arts degree.

However, I must tell you that you can do the same subjects in BA & BA(Adv), same as with a BSci & BSci(Adv). Your UAI will have an indication on your subject choices, however, if you're just doing a BA, if you were doing a BA(Adv) you would have relative unrestricted choice.

My advice, do a BA then transfer after a year or half a year. [Just make sure you do well]

So I guess B Education/ B Arts is the more sensible, non-pointless way to go?
