Hi, I’m Zach, and I’m a graduate of Sydney Grammar School in 2024, and I will be studying a Bachelor of Science/Master of Engineering at the University of Melbourne!

Throughout the later years of high school, I had struggled academically, especially shown in Year 11, where I was heavily discouraged from taking Extension 2 Math, and I was ranked 75th in the Physics Annual (where only 70 people took it in Year 12). Even in the first Year 12 Extension 2 Assessment, I received a raw mark of 52%. However, throughout 2024, I tried different study methods and ways to approach exams: where eventually I saw results: where I scored 80/100 in my Extension 2 Trial (22nd in the year), and I achieved top bands in Extension 1, Extension 2, Physics and Chemistry. I know what it’s like to be struggling, and I know how you can succeed.

As your tutor, I will be able to teach you the content effectively, as well as providing you the methods I used to achieve academic success. I will tailor each lesson to your individual needs to make sure you have a strong conceptual understanding of each subject, as well as knowing how to apply these in exam conditions. Additionally, as an HSC all rounder (Band 6 in Economics and English Advanced), I can teach you effective study strategies in order to have strong performances across all of your subjects, and how to survive through the grueling HSC Year. I offer online 1 on 1 tuition for Year 7-10 Maths, Advanced and Extension 1 Mathematics as well as Year 11-12 Physics and Chemistry for a fee of $60 per hour, and Extension 2 Mathematics for $80 per hour.

HSC Results:
Mathematics Extension 1: 94
Mathematics Extension 2: 93 (94 Internal)
Chemistry: 92 (93 External)
Physics: 92
