I opened a thread around this time last year regarding tutoring. I was fortunate to have received overwhelming number of responses and over the course of the year, I tutored 11 students on a regular basis, and others on a one-off or casual basis as they required. I have also tutored at tuition companies though I stopped as I didn't find it to be as beneficial given the lessons weren't very individually-focused or tailored for specific student needs.
Just to recap, from earlier thread:
I graduated in 2010 with an ATAR of 99.95. I will be holding tutoring classes, both individual and group for the following subjects:
Bio- 97 ( 5th in NSW, Accelerated to sit in Yr 11)
Chem- 95
Mathematics - 99 ( Accelerated to sit HSC in Yr 10)
Mathematics Extension 1 - 98 ( Accelerated to sit in Yr 11)
Mathematics Extension 2 - 96
Advanced English - 96
Price is 25-30/hour depending on location and subject. Mainly in the Strathfield-Burwood or Bankstown-Greenacre region though I can travel within reasonable distance.
Am currently headed into second year of UNSW Medicine.
