Hey

I am a year 12 student in the A.C.T with three of four semesters of Maths Methods under my belt.

I am really so sick of the crap scaling in Methods :cook:, and i would like to get a few units of Specialist Maths under my belt so i can get a Major-Minor
(apparently this is possible so long as 50% of units are Specialist)

Is it worth doing this for my ATAR and what would be the best units to study? I really want to study the most important mathematics.

Depends on alot of things really, what college do you go to and what core and options units are available? You'd probably have to speak to the head of maths to change into specialist this late. What are your other course scores like? Only way to determine if getting those extra units of specialist in will help or not.
