Quantitative finance - what is it and how can i get a job in it?

It's numbers and financial maths... it sucks and 90% of the people dread having to do those related subjects. On the flip side, if you like that kind of stuff, you get to work for lots of money for big companies wanting you to crunch numbers.

It is mainly for people wanting to pursue careers in areas such as financial engineering and insurance. Apparently there are a lot of job opportunities.

i wouldn't like to do maths ever again. not after highschool.

I could handle qualatative finance, but not hardcore finance....

the difference is, of course, that you don't really need maths in the first place...
