we have a qualified teacher but we still just go about learning it ourselves

and u just keep BSing in long responses throw in terminology
if ur good with computers and u also program pssh piss easy then
i didnt even know how to program but knew computers to sum extent and yea u just use comp terminology and BS BS BS BS

freaking_out, your teacher sounds exactly like mine, are you sure we don't go to the same school?! My teacher insisted that you can only use the variable "index" as the subscript for an array! *shakes head in disbelief*

You can do well at SDD as long as you know the syllabus bullet points back to front... they can't ask you anything outside that. I spent most of my studying time going through the syllabus in painful and excruciating detail. It's good to have the extra knowledge though.

The good side of having a teacher who's clueless about programming is that at least they'll give you 100% for whatever little thing you turn out!
