Well since i updated my MSN plus, it installed a newer version of the LOP software bundled with it. Since i run, spywareguard, and spybot, every minute or so, they both simultaneously pop up saying BHO is being hijacked. I have run spybot, adaware, microsoft's GIANT, spywareblaster and AVG. Strangely enough, ms's anitspyware and adaware indentifies it but after cleaning it, its still there. It keeps changing the AIM toolbar search bar url to something else everytime so even when i clcik, remember my decision, it keeps popping up. I have uninstalled MSN plus already and rebooting. THe official LOP removal software from www.lop.com is bundled with a Swizzor virus so nothing i can do. I was just wondering when anyone else had gone through this and how they dealt with it.

Well anyway this is my hijackthis log:

Ok, to remove LOP, try the following:

1. Visit to Add/Remove programs. Double click on "Messenger Plus!" (or click on Change/Remove).

2. "Messenger Plus! - Setup" is now displayed. Click on the Uninstall button.

3. You should now see the sponser screen which requires you to enter a code to uninstall. Enter it and press Uninstall.

4. If you entered the code properly, the program will ask you to confirm that you want to uninstall. You must answer "Yes" to this question, else, you won't have another chance of uninstalling.

5. To complete the uninstallation, follow the instructions that are displayed (the first one is to close all your Internet Explorer windows, that's very important). When everything is complete, restart your computer and, hopefully the infection is gone.

6. Reboot, and post another HJT log.

If you want to keep Messenger Plus

1. After LOP is confirmed as removed, download Plug again.

2. Reject the LOP advertising sponser program. That means you have to read the installation procedures carefully. When you get to the Sponsor Agreement, select the option reading, "I Refuse to give my support, install Messenger Plus! without the sponsor".

I have already removed MSN Plus! so... I don't know what to do. I'll try to re-install MSN Plus and uninstall it as you said!
