I'm currently second in biology and there is a difference of 2 marks between me and the guy who's 1st. I go to a 200+ school.

How worried do I need to be about this 2 mark difference and how substantially will it affect my result for biology. I read somewhere that if you are in a 200+ school and not first; you basically have no hope for a B6 in that subject. Is this true and how close does the gap between rankings need to be in order to get a B6?

AS long as you work hard and ace the HSC externals, there should be no reason why you didn't get a band 6, good luck.

well basically if you're good enough to get a band 6 you'll get a band 6
