i was just wondering, many people ask me, "if i do ok at school (say top 30% in terms of rankings) and owen the external exams (90% etc) what would my uai be'' so if anyone can help me out please do so

really depends on how the other students do in their external exam since half of your hsc mark is determined via the moderated assessment mark.
If you come first, then youre in control on what you get as your final hsc subject mark.
