If the question doesn't ask you to refer to specific issues (ie a general question), would we have to talk about all of the issues or is it possible that we can still refer to a specific issue?

Example question?

If it's a general question - I'd suggest talking about two or three in-depth.

Example question:

[Outline the role of the law in protecting the rights of family members

In your answer, assess the effectiveness of legal processes in resolving conflict in family law.]

Another example question:

[Explain the importance of law reform in protecting family members]

btw wouldn't it be better to be more detailed on one issue as opposed to two issues being not so much in depth? :O

Yes, there - you concentrate on a few issues. If you want to do one, that's fine - I'd suggest two always to show the 'breadth' of the law's effectiveness and not just show one niche example.

Do what shadow said. But the amount of marks is the amount of points you need to make usually.

So if it is a 5 mark question, write 5 ways.
