How do u reference Law Reviews, and are they academic
A Law Review is an academic commentary released usually by the Universities. They contain their ideals and responses to the law. Courts can often use them and you may want to put them into your assignment, although its likely that it is not appropriate in problem solving where you need primary sources such as legislation and cases, rather than the secondary such as textbooks and reviews.
Citing a review is very much like citing a case an example, however you write the author, title of the article, the year in brackets and then the volume number, review name and the page number
e.g. R Sackville, Why Do Judges make law? Some Aspects of Judicial Law Making, (2000) 5 UWSLR 59
(the example is from the UWS Law Review, others include MULR - macq, UNSWLR - new south etc....)
