Has anyone purchased their academic transcript? If so, what is exactly on it? Obviously the grades, but what else. are their rankings or other information? I am kind of interested in rankings, but i dunno if they ever release them...

any info would be groooovy.

I don't need it now but if i ever needed a simple statement with all my uni marks (job interview or something) then it would probably be useful. I mainly just wanted to know what was on it.

yes, useful for job interviews although the transcript is forgeable imo

also it's expensive - like $16+

Alternatively, go to student enquiry service and ask them to print out an unofficial transcript for you.

The unofficial transcript has your HSC marks and UAI score on it as well as any awards you have received at uni. The official transcript does not have these details.

so what's the difference, why would they give an unofficial one for free?

what's the point of one? for jobs i just photocopy my results from 1st and 2nd sem and have 2 pages, why pay $16?

i think it would look better if you gave them some proof.

As for the unoffical one, it has all that info on it??? dam, it seems better than the official one.

How do I apply for an Academic transcript?
To obtain an Academic transcript, complete an application form which is available either from the Cashier Office, Lincoln Building, or download one from the Registrar's Office website

There are two processing methods available:
Routine - Any transcript request received by the Student Enquiry Service by 4pm each Tuesday will be ready for collection or postage on the Friday of the same week. This costs $16 for the first copy, and then $1 for each additional copy ordered. For example, for three copies, it will cost $18 ($16 + $2).

Urgent - Urgent transcript requests received by fax or post will be ready for collection or posted within 48 hours upon receiving the request. Transcripts can be printed on the same day if the student comes to the campus and pays at the cashiers office.
This costs $26 for the first copy, and $1 for each additional copy.
