ACCT1B - Intangible assets (1 Viewer)

Hey guys.. just doing Discussion Q3 and i realised that the information regarding the different types of intangible assets ares outdated since they follow the old AASB. It was my understanding that the only acct standrad used now for intangible assets was AASB 138.. is that right?

yeah, since the adoption of ifrs aasb 138 now covers intangible assets

this is pretyt much stated in week 9 workshop notes

Oops i meant in the accounting textbook kimmel et al.. so we don't follow any of that do we?
