Hi guys. I made an acronym to memorise the boiling points of functional groups in descending order order.
I might (Amide) get in the car (Carboxylic acid) and have a drink (Alcohol) and grab the keys (Keytone). To avoid arrest I will hide (Aldehyde) in a mine (Amine) and stare (ester), because its either (ether) death or the cane (Alkane).
Also note that Boiling points for alkyne, alkene and alkane is dependant on how many hydrogens, so in descending boiling point order its alkane, alkene, alkyne
Hope this helps
