I dont think im that good at intermolecular forces to understand either as i was kinda bludgine last yr.
Initiation:
-Get a radical peroxide (ie it has unpaired electron).
-React it with an ethene so that the double bonds break.

Propogation:
-Keep adding ethene molecules to the chain, each time the double bond breaks.

Termination:
1 - Add another chain to the end to terminate both.
OR
2 - Add the end to itself to terminate.

Does this make sense? A diagram would be better, but I can't do that. Post if you have anymore questions.
