Colloids
- Remain suspended so dont have to be constantly shaken. i.e. milk. you dont have to mix it each time you use it and ame with mayo.
- Settle out so contents can be removed/utilised efficiently. i.e. teabags. You boil water and tea leaves. The tea dissolves in water and the leaves separate to the bottom. The tea (water + dissolved tea) can now be poured out for drinking without the tealeaves having to be drunk
- Dont need shaking nor settle out. This allows them to be homogenous throughout. errr hmm....Petrol, doesnt need to be mixed in tank.
