What are the advantages and disadvantages of using the ammonium molybdate test when measuring for phosphate concentration?

Advantages:
-Provides a quantitative value,
Disadvantage:
-Needs a fair bit of set up

The iffy bit:
-It can be an accurate measure, however the accuracy is hard to achieve, if you've done the experiment you'll understand its quite hard to achieve a high degree of accuracy
