Advice for best laptop for engineering students needed!! (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

Going off to uni this year for a mechanical engineering degree.

I want something that is REALLY portable but at the same time enough for what im gonna use it for for my degree

I'm thinking about buying a monitor and keyboard at home for 'homework'


any price is cool, please give me all your recommendations but I'd like it to be under 1000 if possible.

Ultrabooks? tablets? good old 15" PC?

You need to get other nerds' respect - I recommend an Alienware (neon lights and shiz).
Jokes aside, an ultrabook would be great because of its practicality.
