Hi I am a year 11 student who is about to enter the HSC in a couple of months and I need some advice. I currently have 12 units (3U maths, english standard, modern history, biology and Studies of religion I). I am trying to decide whether to keep 3U maths and drop Studies of religion I and do Catholic studies. OR should I drop 3U and keep SOR. I am aiming for an atar of 90+

Any advice is much appreciated

I'm personally dropping to Catholic Studies to pick up EX2. Not regretting the choice at all. 3U's scaling will beat SOR1's by a mile.

Drop SOR, 3U will help you a lot more! Not just in terms of scaling but with 2U aswel :)

Keep 3U, get rid of SOR. The scaling for 3U is crazily good.

Keep 3U, your options for university courses are heaps wider. Plus, maths is fun, albeit challenging at times!
