Hello all,

So currently I am in Sydney and I have my work rights here. I am intending to become a teacher in the field of Special Education.
However my qualifications and experience are from overseas. I Have done my Diploma in Early Child Care and Education and my Bachelors in Commerce from India. I have few questions-

1)What are my qualification requirements here in NSW to become a Special Ed teacher or start working as a SLSO (teacher's' aid)?
2)Will doing a Graduate certificate in Special Education enough for now and help me get an approval to teach from NESA?
3)Since I intend to start work as a Teacher's aid (Special Ed Setting), or will certificate 3 in Education Support help me with it?
4)Do I need accreditation from NESA post doing certificate 3 in Education Support?

I would also prefer getting some local experience first and then going for a degree.

Any advice/ suggestion is much appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance!
