Hey guys, i got a big decision to make. Basically i changed schools this year and am considering going back to my previous school.

Current School:
*500 People in my year, classes averaging 20 - 25 per class.
*1 and a half hours of travel there and back totalling 3 hours travel a day.
*Wide range of classroom discussion and the fact i dont know people sort of makes me do a bit more work.

Previous School:
*30 people in the year where my classes consist anywhere between 3 - 10 people max in a class.
*Limited class room discussion but also benefits of basically getting tutoured every class due to size.

Was just after some more opinions before make the decision. I left because last year i was in dispute against the strict uniform and behaviour policies but now i sort of realise they are a good thing.

And do you think the teachers make a significant difference?

Cheers.

It depends.

If you have friends at your old school, take into account that it does help to have someone you know around. While you may concentrate without them, with them you can teach (which reinterates the concept to you), and hear their take on a topic your struggling with.

As for the school itself, 3 hours is a long time. Do you think you would use this time constructively? Do you want to use it?

By now, you should know the teaching styles at both schools. Which one do you think is better? Would having better teachers prevale over wasting 3 hours of travel? If you really want to go well, you'll do well wherever you go (my opinion at least), but these are things worth considering.

Hope I helped!
