Forbes Magazine ranked AGSM 9th in the non-US schools segment – no other Asian business school was included in the rankings
Asia-Inc. magazine ranked AGSM’s full time MBA program as equal 6th amongst the prominent business schools in the Asian region.
The Australian Financial Review Boss Magazine ranked AGSM in the top band of leading business schools for the second consecutive year (full time and part time MBA).
Financial Times (UK) ranked AGSM the number one business school in Asia and Australia for the part-time MBA.
Financial Times (UK) ranked AGSM’s executive education as first in Asia and Australia.

Do you have a MBA?

Rankings for Aus MBA vary

for example, The Economist 2005 rankings:

http://mba.eiu.com/index.asp?layout=2002rankings

Accordin to The Economist, here shows Monash at 59 and MGSM at 74 and Melbourne at 99 and Curtin at 90

Anyway it doesnt matter where u got it from, whats the point of getting Harvard MBA if u run big businesses bankrupt? George Bush ran quite a few businesses to the ground and he got one from Harvard.

It may be used as a benchmark for big businesses, but ultimately it comes down to your performance

But once we start thinking like that... everything's pointless.

Obviously performance and success are the key determinants as far as what it comes down to. But then again, there are people with MBAs who are doing very good. And there are people with MBAs who are doing poorly... in fact I know one from Melb Business School who has ended up teaching at a crappy secondary school in HK coz he can't get a job in the corporate sector. At the same time, there are ppl with an MBA from Harvard who have ran businesses to the sky (as opposed to 'to the ground').

Give AGSM a break, they got the highest ranking in Australia ... geez... and no I'm not from UNSW... I'm not even from NSW.

Do some people really relish in dissing the achievements of others?
