Well the biggest passenger plane is nearly here! only a matter of days now untill its unveiled at toulolse! Its just been painted and wow it looks great! the size of those Trent 900 engines are mammoth (not as big as the B777 though)

First flight is in March with delivery to Singapore Airlines in early 2006! Qantas should be the third airline to get the A380 sometime late in 2006....cant wait to fly it!

should be interesting been in a double decker plane with 550 other passengers! :p

Yea i saw they're gunna have bars n shit in them... at least that was the original design, i think qantas said they're gunna have more floorspace.

lol well yes its big enough for all those extra things....but in the end it is up to the airlines themselves how to use the space...and well money comes first....they will just jam the space up with seats.

It's too big. When one of those crashes it's going to be a problem. I think the 7E7 is going to be a bigger hit.

Yes, i like the 7e7 (now the 787) nice sharkfin like vertical stabiliser!
but thats a number of years of and is a different market from the A380......Airbus' competitor to the 787 is the A350 which is under development! should be good though. Nice toatlly modern design
