My progression probably went:
Blink182--> RHCP--->Grunge (PJ(still <3 them), STP, Nirvana etc) and Classic/Hard Rock--->Thrash metal--->Traditional/Heavy Metal and then brached off in a zillion different directions, but favourites at the moment would be in the heavy/speed/traditional arena.

john mayer is such a huge progression
i realise he's not a huge progression but you don't know what im into, seriously.

you attack my taste in well-known people cuz they're well known

and when i name people you don't know you claim that im trying to be underground.

pick on someone who likes a simple plan or avril lavigne for once.

my first concert was the cranberries, my dad took me when i was 7 cos i knew all the words to "linger".

all the music i grew up with was my dad's stuff, like neil young (who i still love), jefferson airplane (in its various forms), the byrds, grateful dead, etc etc

i listened to hanson a lot in year 7, and spiderbait in year 6

Aww! How cute! I wish my parents listened to that.

I grew up with George Thorogood and The Destroyers "Bad To The Bone". And something called 'Jive Bunny'.

Then at the age of 5 I discovered ABBA and haven't looked back.

I did go through a phase where I liked Aqua, Steps, Run DMC, Spice Girls. :p
