should I be using alice in wonderland (novel) as a text for physical journeys. I understand that the whole thing is a dream etc, but my teacher just said great nice choice etc. can i just treat it as a physical journey?

You could use it as a physical journeys related text, but it would more appropriate if it was done as an imaginary journeys text, simply because it is a dream. If you can identify the physical journey and find techniques to support your idea, go for it.
