Amylase-denature at what temperature (1 Viewer)

Is it 60 degrees celcius...I have looked on google and they say different things...my assignment is due on Thursday...eeck, I have finished though....just need to make sure its 60...

There are different types of amylases, including alpha, beta, and amylases from different species. There is no single temeprature for "amylase" because each amylase (a protein) has its own unique amino acid sequence, and hence a different denaturing temperature!
