wat do we need to do? if we decide as one of our supplementary texts to use a song, what aspects of it should we concentrate on? Would you focus on the song itself, and its lyrics? Or would you put more of an emphasis on the music ehind the song, and how that helps portray the physical journey?

thanks guys..

One way is to look at the lyrics first as simply a poem, which is basically wat they are, then go for the context, ie. when was it made, was it an old or new genre or just the latest phase people were going through.

analysing the music behind the lyrics is alot harder for most, n personally wouldn't know where to start, but i hope i helped
