I'm so stuck with this open ended investigation...how is the method meant to be ?!!
We have to investigate how an animal communicates with members of its own species and in the absence of human influences
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ! !

It just means how they commincate with each other. E.g Dog communication refers to body movements and sounds dogs use to send signals to other dogs. Dogs use certain movements of their bodies and body parts and different vocalisations to express their emotions. There are a number of basic ways a dog can communicate its feelings. These are movements of the ears, eyebrows, tail and entire body, as well as barks and growls whines and whimpers, and howls.
Hope this is what you mean? Good luck =) ;)
