Just a quick question (im having a really dumb moment!!)

Why can't viruses (eg influenze) be treated with antibiodics? Is it something to do with the structure difference between viruses and bacteria?

Antibiotics work by disrupting the living processes of bacteria. Because viruses do not have living processes as such, you can't disrupt these processes.
