There's Dr Du for both chem and maths lol. But for Dr Du, you need to get some dude named Peter who's a senior HSC marker and I heard he's really good. Dr Du is really expensive though so not the best option to resort there lol

For chemistry, go to Mr Zhang in Burwood (he's got a thick asian accent which is hard to understand at time) and for maths, I'd recommend a place like Ngo and Sons

About how much would it be?

Like $30 per hour for 2.5 hour weekly lessons (for maths) and like $35 per hour for 2 hour weekly tutoring (chemistry). Cheaper than Matrix though so I guess that's a pro but the con is that they're not in an area which is easily accessible to everyone (i.e. Hurstville)
