(just starting y12) Hoping for 95-97+, but ik im gonna have to drastically improve eng and math to get there. I currently do 12 units but am planning to drop both x1s

SUBJECTRANKBAND 6s 2024 in my school
English Adv130/269 (but went rank 173-108-85 in the year)99
English Ext59/69 (knew i was dropping this from the start)19
Math Adv167/246106
Math Ext113/12769
Economics14/13338 (3sr)
Legal Studies22/11439 (5sr)
Modern History3/9029 (1sr)

Im also planning on picking up history extension which could dull my bad maths a bit.

I can definitely improve eco and modern quite a bit also, I didn't really put much time into them for y11

Looks a lot like knox... I know you have very good HSIE teachers so you'll have plenty of support to improve in eco and modern

Anyhow, you're absolutely killing all the humanities subjects, so you could aim for a high b6 in them. English adv must count to your ATAR, so if you can manage a b6 then it could help you out big time (either way, you're very close, and a lot of English boils down to effort in the end). And, as shavi said, try to improve your maths - make sure you really understand all the topics and make use of your teacher's help, then expose yourself to a variety of exam questions

You're definitely on track for that 97! Honestly, you could aim higher

why tf are more people doing math advanced than extension in a 40k per year school?

if 99.97% of the school gets bands 3-6 in math adv, yet 0.00% get bands 1-2...what happens to the 0.03%?
And putting 3s and 4s with band or 5s 6s is retarded. A 5 and 6 should be considered minimum standard at a 40k per year school 💀

They only have year 11 and 12 students i think, thats why they can have such a big cohort. But on bettereducation it's not even ranked so idk why anyone would want to go there just for senior years
I thought Knox was k-12. I think ur mixing it up with st Mary’s senior high
